Who would even start the fire - yes, that was a good question. One that Piers was not going to try and answer at the moment. One, because he was quite busy putting OUT said fire, and two because... well, he didn't know. And, well... that was that.

Thanks to the bubble head charm, Piers was able to linger near the flames so that he could put them out with the fire extinguishing charm without choking. While the flames dissipated, Piers moved back toward the door, where the Headmaster was ushering people out. "Alright, flames are out," Piers said when he reached the door. The smoke, however, was still very present and filling much of the kitchen.
"To answer your question, though," Piers said, quickly removing his bubble head charm as he stepped out of the door, "I think we're cursed." It was the only way to put it. |
