A different sort of melancholy settled itself over Hogwarts and its grounds. The missing students had been found and their bodies safely retrieved, the culprits of the plight had been identified, all Ministry personnel were leaving the scene mostly unscathed, the boggarts had been successfully contained within the castle with all exiting passageways blocked off, and there was some light at the end of the tunnel at last.

But there was still a long road ahead. A very long and winding one.

Just how did one remove such a massive infestation of boggarts from a castle so intricate in its design and furnishings as Hogwarts was?
