She trusted Alexa and her team more than she trusted her own right now and that was hard hitting and for the briefest of seconds she considered walking away right then.
But with the realisation of what they were up against, Eliora heard the calls to retreat and straightened up where she was standing. With a whistle, she drew the attention to her and with a nod of her head encouraged her employees to get helping James with the protection barriers. She was busy carefully digging the ground away from the teenagers.
Because they were taking them with them today. There was no return mission for these bodies. And if they were leaving them, then they were leaving Eliora with them. Because who knew if the bodies would be here when they returned.
