The girl glanced over her shoulder and into the maze, then turned once again to look at Patrick. "I bet it's much better in there than in there." She pointed from the maze to the palace. "That is..." She said, lowering her voice once her friend was close enough to hear her whisper. "...if the French aren't in there at the same time." She rolled her eyes, yet her half amused smile-smirk was still in place.

"No offence, of course." The Gryffindor Prefect added back in her normal tone of voice. Though she couldn't care less if she did offend some of the French kids who seemed to go out of their way to make their lives more difficult.
