For some reason, Jillian is enjoying this class so far. Sure Professor Schmoe has his quirky ways especially with his love for chalk but surely thinking of this activity was something he did right. Jillian enjoys interior designing, she likes picking out colors and matching all of them with each other. She took the IKEA catalogue that was passed around and she went through her list of things that she noted from earlier.

She flipped through the pages and thought things through since the professor asked for size, measurement and prices to be considered in picking any of the items in the catalogue. Challenge accepted. First off she wanted to know how this dining room is going to look like. Everything must be cohesive and sort of a minimalist design. Simple and classy interior. Okay, okay. Now that she have like a theme thought out, next is to pick items on this catalogue.

The first on her list is a long dining table. She returned to the page that she remembered and found a nice long table and some really nice comfortable chairs that would go well with any style. Adding to that is this gold flower-shape center piece.

Now most dining rooms should have a large window directly facing the dining table and chairs. That's why these thick curtains will surely be a great design that matches well with the interior.

Next are plates, utensils and wine glasses... Jillian skimmed through the catalogue until she finds a nice set of ceramic plates, wine glasses and utensils.

Now for the extra designs, she considered putting a chandelier or light and then of course a family portrait. It's always nice if it looks homey and a family picture signifies that. Since this IKEA catalogue does not have a lot of designs for chandelier, she will need to improvise or go to a plan b which is to just choose any that she can find. Finally choosing a nice looking one she proceeded to pick a frame. Her idea with this is the same as the one she has in her house. In their living room she placed about 5 different frames and in those are her paintings, making it some sort of collage. Same thing just this time it will be family pictures. It can be pictures from their travels or something really posh.

And with that, she marked everything off her list. Phew.
Now she can rest.
