At the time that this corridor had caught her eyes, there hadn't been many students around. Naturally, she assumed (and hoped) that this was a corridor that hardly anyone traversed. After depositing her belongings into her broom closet of a common room, Claudine navigated her way back to the corridor she had peeked at earlier. She passed a student here and there but she always kept to herself.
The paintings fascinated her. She herself wasn't much of a painter but she loved to sketch. The first year spent much of her time admiring the artwork but she did slowly shuffle down the corridor. Being so short, the paintings seemed to be immensely out of reach to her. She was so observed with them that Claudine paid no attention to anything else like the echoes of her steps or the view beyond the windows. |
