Hogwarts and the unknown…the mysterious, potentially dangerous.
They had been going together for as long as the school was in existence, Simon was almost sure of. Shoot, he should know personally, given how he’d spent nearly the entirety of his 7th year at the school; a heights-hating pirate in a quidditch-playing-teenager’s body. It came on and then all of a sudden one day BAM. The limit had been reached and something…anything…had to be done about it. Otherwise the centuries-old school of witchcraft and wizardry would cease to be just that. Things could only go horribly wrong for sooooo long before the Ministry, or at least experts, had to get involved.
The current mystery wasn’t any different, especially with missing children involved. The scientists had already been through what they could get access to to declare it non-natural caused and safe to breath in, now some physical force used to dangerous situations was brought in in the form of law enforcement and Simon had gotten himself attached to the task force. He approached the gate with the rest that had arrived, his wand already at the ready in his grasp. His eyes flickering around their surroundings trying to take in as much as he could to process.
Constant vigilance and all that.
