Obviously a pompion potion would turn the drinker into a pomeranian dog. Maybe her next answer would get a better reaction. ”The longest serving headmaster at Hogwarts was Yoda, serving Hogwarts for 400 years.” A little but powerful green alien from an old muggle film franchise which she admittedly didn’t really know enough about to keep this going. ”His term as headmaster ended when Luke Skywalker summoned him back to his own galaxy.” Yeah she really didn’t remember that much other than some character names. She had seen those old films a very long time ago. Honestly she was surprised that she could remember this much.

STAR WARS. Simran loved Star Wars. She adored it. Not nearly as much as she adored Star Trek, which her parents watched with her on Netflix as a child, which had sparked her interest in space in the first place, but she loved it all the same. Liking the two franchises didn't have to be mutually exclusive. LOOKIN' AT YOU, AIREY FLAMSTEED.

Anyway. "Very well you have answered," she said, nodding seriously. "A great headmaster he was."

For the first few questions, she merely sat listening to the other students' outrageous answers, then inadvertently found herself stifling a laugh. Okay, she had to admit this was fun. And relaxing, given the tense atmosphere around the school at the moment. She liked creative thinking, so this was the perfect chance to challenge her mind.

When the next question was given, the Ravenclaw decided to join in. She hit the buzzer quickly and said, "It was Oprah Winfrey. She decided to step down to start a talk show about... life as Headmistress, Wizarding politics, common magical ailments, stuff like that." Imagine Oprah Winfrey as a witch! How cool was THAT?

Because, Jade, when the first meeting of a club was weird and fun and crazy, people talked about it. And when people talked about it, it was more effective than putting up a poster on the noticeboard. And when more people knew about it, more people would show up for the next meeting, where actual quizzing would take place. And Simran would inevitably find a way to spark some chaos.

But Oprah, huh? Simran could get behind that. Kinda. A tiny bit before her time, but her parents had adored the woman and her show. And the memes persisted long after she had been born. "A wonderful woman -- my parents loved her. Too bad she retired before I could enter Hogwarts."

And who was Yoda? Where did that name even COME from? It was so entirely ridiculous that Nina couldn't help the frown that landed right on her face. She had been trying very hard to conceal her displeasure this entire time (something she hadn't been so good at, granted), but this was the final straw. What was the point of an INCORRECT QUIZ BOWL?

Nina didn't get it. And she got most everything (again, very untrue she also did not get most of the humor that other kids partook in at her age). This was beyond ludicrous. She turned to look at Drewett, was he feeling the same way or was she the only one left with even a centimeter of sanity?

Well, Nina Castillo, there was always going to be something in life that you don't understand. Simran's one thing she didn't understand was literally her entire family. Amrita and her terrible decision-making, especially. Her grandchild had inherited the Gryffindor genes in the worst way, and it was probably for the best that the girl had been raised in Germany. The idea of Amrita surrounded by other Gryffindors was enough to horrify.

They were beautiful and one was what you expect from a Gryffindor. Yoda as a headmaster would be amazing. Oprah well that would be weird. All wrong and all were making her laugh. Well Nina wasnt answering as usual and guess it was her turn again unless Mr. Boring wanted to.

Noo

Ok Than buzzer time!

"Kanye West and it ended in his family taking over Hogwarts and a mass revolt against them"

Wasnt in the textbooks because of how crazy it was.

hahahaha

Now imagine how amusing that would have been.

The objective of the game was to appeal to Professor Sandhu's sense of humour. Maybe she'd write it down for the next Troll Bowl, but she had to at least pretend to be objective here.

Simran released a small snort at the idea of the Kardashian-Wests taking over Hogwarts and gave the Miss Fairfield an approving nod. "I would have revolted too."

"The correct answer," she said, addressing the room once more. "Is Albus Dumbledore, who served as headmaster for 33 years, his term ending with his death at the hands of Severus Snape."

"And that's ten points to Gryffindor!" Because who could beat Yoda?

Did they have time for another question to break the tie? Simran swivelled her watch around to check her timepiece, and then noted that they had spent about fifteen minutes too long out. "Oh my stars!"

"Okay, children, that's all we have time for today. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are tied at 20 points apiece. I'll do some maths over the next week to make sure we don't find ourselves tied again."

"Have a good rest of your day!" she said, opening the door to let them out. "We'll do this again next week, but with real answers."

OOC: THANKS FOR COMING, GUYS. It's been so much fun seeing your characters judge Simran but play along. Y'all are awesome. Feel free to RP your characters leaving and I'll close the thread tomorrow.
