"Oops! Sorry, Professor," she gave him an apologetic look, and a well-rehearsed, sheepish expression meant to convey embarrassment. Of course she had made the mistake on purpose, she knew what she was doing, but as far as anyone else was concerned... Nina Castillo was just soooo bad at potions!!! It's why Eiji had to tutor her, duh! Merlin forbid anyone find out she actually enjoyed academia. It'd be horrible.
With Professor Noble's warning mind, however, the Slytherin took a second look at her parchment. Making a show out of "realizing" her mistake and quickly shuffling her answers to correct the matches. She did not want to be staying behind for a remedial lesson, though she also didn't hate the idea of being pulled away for lunch. She didn't like the majority of her housemates anyway, really Professor Noble wasn't doing a very good job of convincing her against her antics. He was only enabling them.
Once she had finally identified each solution, she joined the rest of her classmates in the final activity. Again, she made sure to go far slower than everyone else, but did so with reason.
