Because she had promised him a kiss, she'd definitely kiss him. A kiss for her hero. The boy who had saved her life from a tree that would have probably killed her. Or would have ruined her face, in which case she would rather have died. Her life-saver.

And so she took a step forward, towards him so that she could do just that.
