The Minister got a friendly nod in return, though internally Ronan wondered where he got his ideas for orientation. At least it was less of a family thing this time.....?

His second teammate was a familiar face in the form of another fellow MLEer. "Hey, Ava," he replied. "Nice holiday?" They were soon joined by a older witch who seemed to feel like he did about the greasiness of the food. "Eh, I'm okay at it." Not an expert or anything, but good enough to not embarrass himself.
Not really surprising if the YATI guy also chose the red shirt since he's also a Gryffindor. Why the ministry only put Gryffindor for this bowling team, she had no idea honestly but perhaps he was also a lion back in his younger years. "I did, yes." Even though Ava only spent her time mostly with her family back in Cornwall for Christmas but it was enough, mostly because she had been really busy catching up with her YATI year. "How about you?"

Oh looks like more people joined the red team (those are her RPer couldn't really recognize lmao excuse her), including her former head of house aka. Mr. Flamsteed. Yes, hello there sir!

Perhaps a change in routine was their ideal way of kicking off the new year. He had no complaints.

Inside the bowling alley, his instinct made him look for his girlfriend first. That was his priority for the day. He hoped he wouldn't miss the opportunity to join in the mingling. He still was a bit hesitant about possibly joining the game. This wasn't his event, and he preferred being a mere spectator. He'd cheer on his girlfriend instead. Once he'd found Ava in the crowd, he slipped his arm around her waist and quickly kissed the side of her head. "Hey, there. I hope I wasn't too late," he said. Then he looked at her companions (Emilia and Ronan), and Reed assumed they were her colleagues from the auror office. "Hello to you both, as well," the twenty-six year old greeted them with a polite smile too.
"Hi, Honey." Ava couldn't help but blushed as her boyfriend casually slipped his hand on her waist and kissed her temple. If this wasn't a professional environment, the 22 year-old wouldn't mind to give him a big smooch on lips. For now, a cheek kiss was enough because people were watching, including her former professors. "Thank you for coming, by the way." It means very much for her, honestly. Not that she's comparing Reed with her ex-boyfriend boy as far as Ava remembered, there was no single time that Phillip accompanied her for a gathering event like like. "Oh, by the way these are my co-workers." Grinning, she introduced Reed to Emilia and Ronan. "Guys, this is Reed." Her boyfriend, EEEPP!!

Not.

But Olly would have to play along, seeing as this was part of their shared Ministry orientation. At least they could come here dressed casually, no need for any type of fancy clothes in a bowling alley, right? Still, not exactly her idea of fun though but nonetheless she was here. And she expected NOTHING LESS from her employees. Speaking of...they were all here, weren't they?

Sending a polite smile in the general direction of the Minister, Olly quickly slipped past him (before he could engage her in any type of chitchat) and grabbed a pair of bowling shoes and the most neutral colored shirt she could find, i.e. the one for the Spareialis Revelio team. Beautiful. After bending down to put on her bowling shoes first, Olly then stood upright and...looked for any and all sort of excuse to not put on that shirt right away. Maybe one of her-

-ah, yes, she'd been meaning to speak with Lucy anyway.

Grey shirt still in hand, Olly quickly made her way over to her employee, a genuine smile on her lips. "Lucille, hello." Not really in the mood to bowl just yet either? "How was your winter break?" While waiting for an answer, she leaned against the table Lucy was sitting at a little and briefly glanced around the bowling alley again.

Hello, Mariana, we see you.

The Chinese man couldn't really spot any other people in grey shirt aside of the younger girl (Regina), huh. This wasn't really a good team composition, his inner HR brain was speaking. Perhaps more people would join their team or worst case scenario, two of them would join others' team. Not that he would mind.

Ah look, there was another woman (Olly) having a grey shirt on her hand. She seemed still busy talking to her colleagues and Shang Wu wouldn't bother them in the middle of conversation. It was rude, and being rude wasn't in his dictionary. Instead, the new HR officer just waited for a right moment. For the Record, he's not that good in bowling even though he's a muggleborn and worked in muggle environment. He was just this basic yappie* who preferred golf and tennis.

yappie: Young Asian Professionals yes, it's the Asian version of yuppie.

"Thank you, sir." Shang Wu politely nodded. He also was looking forward to work with the ministry team and had a good hope with them. He had several ideas to improve the quality of ministry employers and some of them were adapted from his old workplace, but let's just not talk about it right here right now, eh? "Right, and polka-dotted really suits you, sir."
