Avalon aimlessly twirled her quill as she racked her brain. She had gotten her picture taken and had her parchment ready to go, but she couldn't think of a crime. What would she get arrested for? She couldn't imagine ever committing a crime -- she was typically such a rule follower. But she did have a reckless streak when it came to protecting her family or standing up for what she believed in. Come to think of it, her grandfather had told her about some wizards that had rescued magical creatures from captivity or abuse. Although the men had saved the animals, they had technically disobeyed the law by stealing. She could maybe see herself doing that if it meant freeing some animals from bad situations. Putting her quill to her parchment, she began to scribble down her thoughts.



She considered adding the typical "approach with extreme caution" line, but truthfully, that probably wouldn't be on her wanted poster. After all, she was a clever witch, but wouldn't perform any dangerous magic unless she was in direct harm's way. She probably wouldn't resist arrest either, as she would welcome the opportunity to defend herself in wizard court. Avalon was fairly confident that she could build a convincing case for herself.

Sliding her parchment to the corner of her desk upon finishing, Avalon glanced up at Headmaster Trent waving his wand at some magical portraits. So now they were going to act as inquisitors? But what were the crimes? Perhaps it was up to them to find out. Judging by the personalities of the portraits, all three of them were irritating. Viktor was acting utterly insane, Lena looked plainly unapproachable, and Patrick's voice was already getting on her nerves. Which person should she question? She looked over her shoulder as she approached the portraits to see if there were any other students who wanted to work together. Avalon felt like this activity might be more successful with teamwork.
