Hogwarts RPG Name: Lola A. Second Year | Mischievous Niffler Wasn't it just great how Professor O'Hara had placed extra torches in the classroom - especially after coming from the freezing cold Death Day party? That was the real reason why she'd lit so many extra torches - it had very little to do with the snowy weather outside.
Alice settled down (settled, but with a straight back) into her chair at the front of the classroom. From there, she watched as all the students filtered in and sat down. The clock on the wall showed that there were less than ten minutes left until the class was officially over. So they were almost done, but not quite! "Did you notice how we took a little longer coming back to class than going to the spirit room?" Alice asked this when everyone had settled down. "I moved us slower than usual. I didn't want to arrive too quickly due to the warm atmosphere of my classroom after leaving the spirit room. Dramatic changes in body temperature can be unhealthy if not used in proper health settings - such as sauna's and showers. So I wanted to give you all time to adjust." Sometimes, she wished she were a health professor as well a history professor. What a shame Hogwarts didn't have the position.
Back to the topic at hand. "What did you think of the party? Did you learn any interesting facts from our ghostly friends?" These questions were more loose than usual classroom questions. There could be many answers. "Whether or not you enjoyed it, I think you will all agree with me that it would have been a waste to merely study ghosts in your textbooks when we have so many actual ghosts living among us. I am planning to do more hands on lessons in the future. If there is any subject in particular that you would like us to study, then please. I would love to hear your ideas. Drop by my office anytime." "Well, I think that'll be all. Class dismissed!" OOC: Woot! You can have your student answering these last few questions and then you're free to leave. Thanks for the awesome turnout! |
