The only thing better than the cooking of Hogwarts' house elves was the cooking of Piers' husband. But unfortunately, his husband couldn't come bring him food all the time. But it was fine. He DID eat well, most of the time. This was purely a snack of beany indulgence.
Piers took a seat on a squeaky chair across the table from one of the students he was in charge of while she... seemingly decided whether or not she wanted to stay. But she sat. Good. Piers took a bite of his toast, some saucy beans spilling onto the plate below it. It was the nature of the snack.
And finally, the purpose of the visit was out in the air. Piers wasn't completely surprised by the request, but it was his first. It had been a few months since the start of term now. Perhaps her housemates were getting on her nerves. Slytherins could be REAL pains in the rear some time. Piers dabbed his mouth with a napkin and cleared his throat, his expression remaining neutral the entire time.
