How long was he sitting there watching the elephant? He didn't know but it was a moment or two before he realised that he was meant to be doing something around about now.

Lucas tore his eyes away from Dani the elephant and, instead, looked at the notes he had made, taking out his wand in the process. Emfanizo Arithmou? It really was a mouthful which only meant that he'd have to split it up. "Em-fa-NI-zo. A-rith-MOU. Em-fa-NI-zo A-rith-MOU. Emfa-NIzo Arith-MOU." How long was he chanting this? Again, he didn't know. "EmfaNIzo ArithMOU."

Breathe.

"EmfaNIzo ArithMOU. EmfaNIzo ArithMOU. Emfanizo Arithmou!" That was starting to sound better, yeah? "Emfanizo Arithmou!" There. Did he have to practice the wand movement? He didn't think so! How hard would it be to make slow, clockwise motions? Not very! There was no way he could mess this up that badly.

So, he delved straight into the spellcasting. Pointing his wand straight at the elephant's head, he started making small, steady clockwise motions first, mostly the size of the elephant itself. Which, by the way, was hard to do because the elephant was TINY! "Emfanizo Arithmou!" he called, continuing with the clockwise motions. Sissay said to only move horizontally when the number started to appear but..... there were no numbers. There was nothing.

So, he continued to move his wand in the same clockwise motion, still stuck on the elephant's head.

........ uh.......
