Gunnar wasn't exactly big on "bonding activities" but he did like to be outside and he could always eat. And so, he headed down towards the lake for the Slytherin get-together.
"Professor," he nodded towards their new head of house, not knowing him well at all yet. But his eyes soon fell onto the extra large spiderwebs hanging nearby. "Are these for climbing or are we expecting some eight-legged guests?" There were acromantulas in the forest still, right? Or maybe Fuller just really liked Halloween decorations.
Anyway, the main reason he was here was the food, and he headed towards the refreshment table next. "Hey, guys," he offered a general greeting to all those assembled before reaching for some food.
Wait.... hold up. Did that first year just take a cookie from Kaiser's pocket? If he had done that to Gunnar, he wouldn't be able to use his hand for a week. "Relax, kid," he told the first year. "There's plenty here for everyone."
"Mate." He couldn't help the light laughter that escaped his lips as his dorm mate proceeded to lick the cookies, apparently as an attempt to keep anyone else from stealing his pocketed cookies. But as for Gunnar, he'd start off with some cheese and crackers, making his own little sandwiches out of them.
