Benny smiled as Adi gave in, promising something that may or may not be possible. Into the pan with the cooking chicken went the wine and the lemon slices, the food just about done. Everything just needed a little time to mesh and meld…all the smells certainly already did. Swish…swish…swish, the utensil in his hand lightly scraping the pan as he mixed things around as it finished cooking.
And there was Adi’s sweet tooth.
He seemed to remember picking up some ice cream, so unless someone had been all into it already, there HAD to be some left. “How about on the couch.” After all Raj wasn’t there so they needn’t be examples and always act like perfect adults at the dinner table. Letting the food settle, Benny moved to the cabinet to retrieve two dishes, moving to plate enough for each of them.
