Observing had never been the way she learned, not when it was the sole means of gaining knowledge...but the former Ravenclaw turned pre-healer studies student could appreciate that she was only now finishing up her first year and most wouldn't be keen on letting her do real life operations. Inconvenient but understandable. At home, she had her own corpse to tinker with, here she could settle for shadowing and hoping no one else became one. Didn't need that guilt by association, thanks.

Jessa entered the room, clipboard and notes clutched against her chest. She'd reviewed the program guidelines several times, adding to her collection of notes with each new look over. It was something she'd been looking forward to as the semester drew to a close. Practical experience...as practical as they would be allowed to get anyway.

"Morning." She muttered to the Professor...er....Healer....um....Professor....bef ore sinking into the seat by Noemi. Uncomfortable? Only a lot little. She'd spent the last 24 hours acclimating to the fact they'd be partners--AGAIN. It'd created all sorts of uncomfortable knots in her stomach when she'd first seen the notice and even now taking the seat next to the girl who seemed to end up in her group more often than not thanks universe she could feel small remnants of those knots but by now they were manageable.

Manageable was the most she could ask for. Manageable was okay.

"Noémi." Not at all said unkindly. The discomfort she felt around the girl had nothing to do with animosity. It was a genuine discomfort borne of chagrin, guilt and an ignorance on how to begin to resolve it. Could they get moving? She wouldn't be able to sit here for long. The fidgeting she began with the edges of her clipped papers was perhaps the easiest giveaway of that.
