Default Mr. MacKenzie's Office

In the Bell Tower Courtyard one can find the office of Mr. MacKenzie. The outside of the Flying instructor's private space is nothing out of the ordinary. A gold nameplate, reading the man's name and position at the school, rests on the door, and two identical leather armchairs are positioned on either side of it with accompanying side tables containing an array of Quidditch magazines. A simple knock will be enough to get the man's attention, though one will have to make use of the chairs if he happens to not be on the other side of the door.

Once inside the office, it instantly screams MacKenzie at you. Adorning the walls are a number of photographs, depicting various accomplishments made throughout his life -- a teen clad in red and gold colours hoisting a silver cup high in the air, a young adult sporting black Montrose Magpies robes and a smirk, a man guarding a goalpost during the 2070 Quidditch World Cup finals, and so on. A number of shelves are also present, featuring various tokens such as framed newspaper clippings, an array of gifts fans gave to him in the past, and a handful of books (some of which MacKenzie wrote himself). A trunk containing the school's Quaffle, Bludgers, and Snitch is also present, and a broom is mounted on the wall above it.

Besides a large window, with a perfect view of the Flying lawn and the pitch beyond, stands a fairly large desk and, in front of it, two leather chairs. On the desk are more photographs, though all of these feature something more personal: his wife, son and daughter, and grandson. The remainder of the desk consists of an extravagant quill and various pieces of parchment. Whether the man is taking care of Hogwarts business or is just responding to the fanmail he still receives is the question of the hour.
