With that said, it was no surprise that Colin MacKenzie had found his way inside Quality Quidditch Supplies. In the past he frequented the shop for himself and his son, but now he was here on behalf of his grandson who was in need of some apparel and supplies for the upcoming competition.
He also wouldn't have minded being recognized himself. Even with greying hair and being over 50, the man still liked to think of himself as relevant. His legacy still lived on, thank you very much.
"Well, look what the Kneazle dragged in," Colin stated when he caught sight of Pavel. He really only recognized the other, but he was well acquainted with the younger man's co-beater and captain for the World Cup. "Did Cynthia send ye here to replace her bat, or are ye lookin' for yerself?"
Pavel stood in front of the supplies shelves eyeing the beater bats on display with want in his eyes and was about to pick one down to examine it when he was distracted by a voice. Casting a glance over his left shoulder at the man that owned the voice he nodded in recognition.
"Mr MacKenzie, how’s it going?" Pavel wasn’t exactly very acquainted with the elder man but he knew that MacKenzie had a familial relation to his captain Cynthia.,
Gesturing to the beater bat’s on the shelves Pavel shrugged.
"Both I suppose. You know Cynthia would never willingly admit to anyone that she need’s a new bat, but I’d like to be prepared. Our next match against Portugal will most likely be fierce."
Taking down a bat to examine it further, Pavel raised his gaze to look at Colin
"So what bring’s you here Mr MacKenzie just browsing or buying?"
