Megan thought it was about time that the creature came to her. She was getting impatient though she had been and was still not trying to show it. Gently, she lifted the thing and in the process, examined it carefully. It was hard to believe something so innocent was capable of such destruction. Then again, she had learnt in all her years of working to not judge a book by its cover.
The thing was given a warm cuddle and a moment of soft humming before depositing it into the cage. The cage was quickly shut and Megan peered triumphantly over to the others. "How are you all coming along? Feel free to use my cage if needed.'' |
