The lesson was moving on!

As Kennedy started explaining the different things they were going to need to do, Rylee already felt confused. Setting her rock and stick down on the ground at her feet she pulled a sheet of parchment from her bag along with her quill. Quickly she jotted down each of the steps before she forgot them so that she wouldn't mess up and do anything in the wrong order.

Now that she knew what to do first she quickly gathered her things and went over to where the buckets of paint and paint brushes were. When it was her turn, Rylee painted her rock white making sure it was nicely done. Passing the paintbrush to whomever was next and stepping out of the way, she pulled out her wand to cast a drying charm on the rock. This was done so she wouldn't make anymore of a mess like she had already (there was definitely some paint on her hands).

Once again taking out her quill she signed her name in a perfect purple script on a small area on one side of the rock. Back into her bag the quill went before she checked the parchment to see what came next. Cutting a little bit of the stick and sticking it onto the rock. Got it. Kneeling down in the grass she made sure the ground was even where she was before placing the rock down in front of her.

Pulling her wand from its holster she picked up the stick. "Diffindo!" she cast confidently cutting off a bit of the bottom of the stick so that it was nice, even and smooth. "Adhaero!" she than cast after holding the flat end of the stick upright in the center of her rock. Smiling lightly to herself she picked it up by the stick to make sure it had worked, setting it back down again when the rock didn't fall off.

Being she had already put her name on it she was ready to decorate it! Rummaging through her bag she found some rainbow glitter and a few small faux flowers she had been using to make another flower crown for someone. Using 'Adhaero' a couple of times she stuck a few colorful flowers onto the rock. Then she added a decent amount of rainbow glitter!

Sitting back on the heels of her feet she smiled to herself. Perfect. And good thing too as the Professor was calling the lesson to an end! Packing all her things into her bag, minus the sundial which she was going to carry, she got to her feet. "Great lesson, Professor! Have a good evening!" With a smile on her face she gone back to the castle.
