For someone who was gaining an advantage for being around Caolan, Maxton was being really ungrateful. Where was the thank you? Where was the appreciation? Caolan could have just moved along after all or stood and watched him struggling and as amusing as that would have been, the fifth-year chose out of the goodness of his heart to lend him a helping hand. Granted it was because he could show off a little. Look what a bit of exercise could do. “Do you know what can give you a bit of strength in your arms? Rowing.” Just saying. Full of helpful hints he was.

He squinted when he pointed at his chin trying to make out the minimal facial hairs that he was talking about, an amused smile gracing his face.
