Caolan would have moved on and just left him to whatever it was that he was doing but quite frankly bantering with this guy was kind of fun and he didn’t actually have anything else to that day so he stayed out watching him force his hand into the suits of armour and come out empty-handed.
“You know they’re for display right? They’re empty.” Again with the sarcasm. He couldn’t help himself. He got that the prefect had obviously hidden something in them. It was either that or he was looking for what someone else might have stashed away in there but he sort of got the inkling that he didn’t care about his Prefect duties that much that he’d actively go looking out for troublemakers.
