A big grin appeared on Deesey's face when Ellura took one of her doughnuts. Even better, the woman had taken a bite and seemed to be enjoying it. "You is welcome, Missus!"
Then, unexpectedly, a hand reached into the box. For a moment, Deesey was about to pull the box away. Deesey believed very much in everyone having good manners. When she took in the sight of Reed, however, the elf decided to not cause a fuss. The doughnuts were for them and he did say thank you, after all.
"You is welcome, Mas - Mister," Deesey cheerfully replied. "And, yes, Mister, Deesey made these all herself. A special treat Deesey made for the hard workers at the paper." |
