Feeling very happy that Astronomy was back with Professor Kalen, Hanna had also noticed the lack of food and drink present at lessons. It was quite okay, though. She didn't need food or hot chocolate to keep her going. Now that she didn't have to use all of the energy of calories on the forced running they had to do, the calories were able to stick around and help with her brain functioning. It was preferred this way.
