The door opened and Tamlin quickly pulled his hand away from his nose, blinking at the girl on the other side. He thought it was going to be the mum who was friends with moms to open the door but no it was a kid, like him. And ignoring him as she talked to moms. The six year old frowned. He did not like being ignored, even though he ignored some people a lot. Was this the friend moms was talking about that he had to be nice to?Already, he did not like her very much.
The same could be said about the smaller, louder, more excited kid who had now turned her attention to him and was asking his name. "Tamlin." He said simply. Was this really the kids he was going to have to be friends with? And what was she talking about? Pacas? Alpacas? He did not know what that was but he knew it was not any kind of dragon or he would have heard of it. Of course. He knew ALL about dragons. Biting on his lip, he looked up to his moms. He wanted to go home.
Completely oblivious to her son's inner whirrings, the brunette smiled broadly at the kids, at Catherine first who opened the door (MERLIN, how she'd grown! she could see both Sophie and Mordred in her face) then at Scarlett, the little bean who never ran out of energy it seemed. Where was Noah and 'kenzie? She wanted to rain hugs and kisses on all of them. Really, she did. It felt so nice to be surrounded by kids. But first things first, nudging her son along, she announced. "Come on, you lot. You all can talk about alpacas once were inside."
