Evony wondered if Leander was aware of just how wide he was smiling. She imagined it would be hard to ignore. (She also wondered if it might be mildly painful.)

She continued the pace she was walking to allowed him to decide where he wanted to walk. She glanced toward him. "Then walk with me." she said in a way where it wasn't necessarily an inevitable but more of an inevitable fact.

She nodded slowly. "Ah. Have you done that already?" she asked curiously. What was she doing here? "Boredom, mostly. But I am thinking in investing in a new beach book."
