Emmalyn’s words touched Kay. “You would have loved her. I can tell you, she would have fussed over you so much that you might have started to resent her.’’ She nodded now. “Sometimes. But then I have to remember that they’d want me to live my life to the fullest. That's what I do every day. Just live in the moment.’’ The head of dark hair was shaken. “I have a lot of memories of my dad but as for my mother, she died shortly after I was born. Dad always kept her memory alive.’’ The album was held out. “You can go through the rest of the pictures. There are plenty more pictures of me as a baby.’’
