As he was fixing up the cheese plate he had prepared, he heard a knock at the door. Foster was lucky he remembered their lunch meeting. He was pretty sure Kalen would be angrily sipping tea right about now, but...he had promised, and Tristan didn't break promises. Even if he wasn't to excited about this meeting, he was going to make sure he gave Foster the benefit of the doubt after the comments he made at the feast.

He set the nicely organized cheese plate, (full of Gouda, Cheddar, Brie, Crackers, red and green Grapes, and a selection of different meats), down on the table in the small living room next to the couch and then headed for the door.

"Afternoon, Foster. Come on in. You can have a seat on the couch or chair in the living room whichever you prefer. Don't worry, Ash doesn't bite." He said with a grin gesturing to the lovely Phoenix resting on it's perch next to the fireplace. "Oh, thank you for bring something. You can set it on the coffee table. I need to get a couple things from the kitchen and then I will be right with you." He said with a nod, before heading off to the kitchen, boots clomping against the floor.
He smiled warmly when Tristan opened the door. "Good afternoon, Tristan. Thank you" He said in a light, friendly tone as he entered and placed the tray of tea and scones on the coffee table. "Your hut is lovely. Seems like the perfect spot for some peace and quiet at the end of the day." Not that he didn't love being in the castle with the students, but he was a proud introvert and greatly enjoyed his alone time.

He slowly approached Ash, keeping a safe distance. He hand't had the best track record with creatures and wasn't in the mood to test out if his luck had changed. Satisfied he would not be attacked during lunch, he spun around and slowly made his way to the living room chair. "The cheese plate looks wonderful. Thank you for making it." He called out just loud enough for Tristan to be able to hear him from the kitchen.

Foster placed his hands on his lap, trying not to fidget while he waited for Tristan's return. It was impolite and a bad habit of his when he was anxious.
