Both of the older nephews acted just like their father and Conley and Nathaniel had never gotten along. Maybe, just maybe the new one would be more like Conley. Well, he could hope couldn’t he? Was it wrong to hope that?

The lobby was a bit busy, but not more so then usual. Perhaps it was time to part ways. He was sure the girl had things to do and he needed to see Ms. Bones in particular. ”Well, Ms. Ashrey,” Conley said with a waggish bow. ”I have enjoyed playing tour guide. “ He hoped she would take the joke in stride. He had gotten the impression that she had a good sense of humor and hoped his playful teasing wouldn’t upset her. ”Perhaps we could meet for tea or lunch sometime soon? Feel free to stop by Level Five the next time you get lost, I think I have a map of the ministry I could lend you. ”
She quietly waved at the familiar faces at the reception desk before answering "I do babysit a lot. It's great. Both for spending time with them, and the money." She blushed, hoping it didn't sound bad that she enjoyed getting paid to watch her own nieces and nephews. "If your brother is ever looking for a sitter, you can give him my name." It was worth a try.

"Thank you so much for joining me on the journey. It was a pleasure." She stood, a bit awkwardly, near the isle that lead to her desk. "I'd quite enjoy meeting for lunch or tea, and I'll be sure to drop by Level Five again, hopefully to say hi and not in need of a map." She turned to walk to her desk, then spun around one last time. "Thank you." After flashing one last smile, she headed of to get some work done and to check on Mrs. Bones and the Minister.
