Post 'Fantastic Beasts' 2 new Lacock Abbey on-set photos show extras in Hogwarts robes

The photos taken below show that Fantastic Beasts 2 filming continued at Lacock Abbey - the exterior setting of Hogwarts Castle and corridors - up to this past week. Now spotted were some extras dressed in dark robes - presumably Hogwarts robes dated around the time Newt Scamander was at the wizarding school (in the 1910s).

Keen eyes can see that the first photo shows a group of students in black robes heading into the Lacock Abbey set, while the second depicts film crews outside the area. Reportedly, stars Eddie Redmayne, Callum Turner, and Zoe Kravitz were on the set, at least in late August, though no word yet on how the three would be incorporated into Hogwarts scenes.

If anyone is in or around the Lacock Abbey area this weekend or week, do try to get a few photos from the set.

The following plot details were released by Warner Bros. about the second installment, which hits theaters and IMAX in November 2018.

Quote:
J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the film, which opens in 1927, a few months after Newt helped to unveil and capture the infamous Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. However, as he promised he would, Grindelwald has made a dramatic escape and has been gathering more followers to his cause—elevating wizards above all non-magical beings.

The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander. The adventure reunites Newt with Tina, Queenie and Jacob, but his mission will also test their loyalties as they face new perils in an increasingly dangerous and divided wizarding world.
The starring cast for Fantastic Beasts 2 includes Redmayne, Turner, and Kravitz with Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), Kevin Guthrie (Abernathy), and Jude Law (Albus Dumbeldore).
