...and with that, he was DONE. Save for the high five, and just so he could say he accomplished everything, Brent clapped his hands together in a high five to himself. Heh. He picked up his belongings, because he was sure the professor didn't want them to leave everything in the middle of the Forbidden Forest. "Thanks for being awesome partners," he told the girls he'd been working with. "Awesome lesson, Professor!"
He followed the class en route back to the castle, kind of glad to be leaving the creepy forest. Paul smiled at Brent a little, his previous anger forgotten . "Well, thank you, Mr. Westwood! I am glad you enjoyed it planting seeds...gardening, in a way, even though you're a boy," and he winked at Brent to show he was teasing. Quote:

Carlton cast one last look their way, grabbed his bucket and marched out of the cave. He had questions. Questions that demanded answers! He spotted the professor and walked up to him.
"Professor Myers? Excuse me professor?" Yeah, down here professor. Excuse, ahem, excuse. Carlton cleared his voice. "Are they really going to be alright in there, professor? Is it safe to leave them alone, professor? What if they don't grow, professor? How do we know it's worked, professor? Do we really know if they want to be in that cave, professor? They looked so happy in the first one, professor." He paused for half a second to inhale deeply so that he could continue. Only to realize he'd asked all his questions. In one breath. So he closed his mouth and looked up at Professor Myers.
He really didn't want to leave the forest without these answers! Aaaaaand there was a small one asking LOTS of questions, but Paul didn't mind ONE BIT. "Yes, m'boy, it is very safe! Fire seeds can really thrive in this kind of environment!" he said with a nod. All of the other questions kind of made him laugh a little. " Well, I will probably come check on the seeds occasionally. Maybe I'll bring some of you in a month or two," he grinned and pat the boy's head. "Would you like that? And if they're happy...we'll know."

Trudging through the forest was going relative smoothly. No weird noises, nothing popping out at them...and as they kept walking, the trees thinned, and sunlight peeked through branches more easily. Again, it was a good bit of a walk, but they eventually made it OUT OF THE FORBIDDEN FOREST ALIIIIIIVE.
And in front of McLeod's Hut! " Class dismissed everyone! Excellent behavior in the forest, and excellent job in class! See you all next lesson!" he grinned. EXCEPT YOU, DERF, YOU COMING TO OUR OFFICE YES? OOC: THAT'S A WRAP. I'm leaving this thread open only for another 6 hours.
