Personality

Nero is generally friendly and easy to approach. However, he tends to judge people from the first meeting and would avoid those he doesn’t feel comfortable around. Due to his heritage of one of the longest (if the not the longest) pure-blood families in Asia, he has the pure-blood pride to some degree, but doesn’t disdain those who are from other heritages. He’s not reserved per se, but after his parents’ deaths, he became quieter. Nero is calculative in the sense that he would think before he acts, but once he has his thoughts together, he’s not afraid to take risks.

History

Nero Perseus Ballarat was born a descendant of the longest and purest bloodline from the Far East. Like most members of the Ballarat, he had mild control over his magic since a young age when he consciously summoned a ball that he accidentally threw onto the roof. He spent majority of his childhood with the family’s house elf, Peeky, whom he had good relationship with considering both of his parents were busy working with his father, Perseus, would only return during the weekends, and his mother, Cassandra, who always worked late.

One night in the summer before Nero was supposed to enter Hogwarts, both his parents were killed in a potion leak at Perseus’ laboratory when Cassandra happened to visit. He was left orphaned and was taken in by child services while they tried to contact his only living family, Ares, his paternal uncle, who he had never met due to the nature of his work.
