"Professor, they are the universal symbol for SLOW." Like really say your as slow as snails in any language and they'll know exactly what you mean.
Tenacious was next and his suggestion amused her but Laurel didn't show it instead she responded. "It's easy to think that since they move so slow, but they move slow and steadily for a reason it is to teach us that there are no shortcuts in life so it's better to be slow and thorough than fast and sloppy." Next kitty spoke up bringing something that Laurel hadn't realized to her attention which she'd bring up when she moved on. Focusing on the last part of what Kitty said Laurel answered "'Moving slower than a snail' is probably an expression that everyone in this classroom has heard at least once but it's not what snails and/or slugs symbolize. So this lesson isn't just on one or the other but on both snails and slugs since they are so intertwined in divination as a whole and in this lesson forward."
