Olly had not been back at the castle very long before he headed out to the grounds. He never really had a specific end goal in mind, he just went wherever grabbed his interest. And today he was interested in the playground. Maybe the monkey bars or the slide or the swings. He was one of the only students around so he could choose from any of the options. After a moment of consideration he decided on the swings and plopped himself down in an empty one. And of course he smiled at the other boy before starting to swing. Quote:

Although perhaps the presence of a younger Gryffindor and Slytherin would turn out to be the reason.
"Hello," she greeted both with a small wave as she moved closer. Merlin she hadn't been on swings...or any sort of equipment like this in a long while. It seemed as though no sooner had he sat down on the swing and began swaying some did someone show up. The tops of his shoes dragged against the grass as he looked up to who had claimed the second swing. Apparently he was destined to meet all kinds of Slytherins this term. There may have been internal sighing happening. The previous Slytherin he'd met wasn't exactly... warmhearted.
With a nod, he hesitantly smiled back.
The older girl he was prepared for, having seen her walking up now that he was alert. He stopped swaying on the swing, wrapping his arms around the chains and giving a little wave in return to her. Maybe he snagged his place on the playground just in time. "Hello." General greeting out there. For both of them. |
