FAMILY BACKGROUND:
Born in remote Glencoe, Scotland, Finnlay is an only child. His parents own a local pub, and Finn spent many hours there washing dishes and generally doing odd jobs as he grew up. His Hogwarts letter came amidst great surprise to his Muggle parents, but not to his wizard uncle, who had seen signs of magic in the boy at an early age. Finn never liked his uncle, given how odd he seemed, but once the truth came out it was an instant bonding moment.
