A Poop * k8 *
Paul had a happy little screechsnap, now, and he smiled as he watched others. Some of their flowers were behaving, and others were...feisty, yes. He was glad no one had managed to behead one of the screechsnaps, though.
How traumatic would THAT be? "Something for us to discuss while some of you finish up--the ethics behind dealing with plants with feelings. There are are some out there that thing we should care for the plants like any other plants--regardless of the fact that they can feel pain. If we accidentally cut off a branch--of pull off a leaf--and the plant is hurting, is this wrong? Or does it not matter so much...these plants are only semi-sentient. They don't have brain capabilities, not even as much as animals do. Should there exist...laws against plant cruelty? For plants like mandrakes, screechsnaps, honking daffodils, venomous tentaculas? What do you all think?" He could guess what Daxton Prince would think, even if the child thank Merlin wasn't here. OOC: Wrapping up the lesson! I'm gonna' leave it open another day or so, feel free to discuss what Paul is talking about above! Thanks for the interesting posts, guys! Lovely job everyone, woohoo!
