Hadley made her way to the front of the room, and took a fortune cookie out of the jar. She eyed the professor suspiciously. "Professor," evil or not, they still tended to be grumps when you didn't greet them in some fashion. Hadley backed away, making sure to not take her eyes off Yoon, and...tripped as she backed into a chair at one of the tables right next to Yoon's desk. Hadley floundered for a second, brushed the hair out of her face and acted like she'd meant to pick this seat. But honestly: Great! She'll be the first one in the pot this time.

With a sigh, Hadley opened her fortune cookie and read it aloud. "A lifetime isn't nearly long enough to figure out what it's all about. Really? Fine..." When did fortunes stop being actual fortunes?
Surprisingly enough, the first student who came into her class was Hadley Denaker. That Ravenclaw student hadn't caused any trouble in her class.... yet, but Sora still kept her eyes on her. "Miss Denaker." The divination Professor greeted her back.

"Good afternoon, Professor," he greeted the Divination teacher with a friendly smile, reaching into the fortune cookie jar. ;Thank you for the cookie."

Fiyero took a seat at one if the various tables, carefully setting out his quill and parchment before helping himself to a cup of tea and a scone. The food was definitely his favorite part of Divination class! Most of the other teachers were really picky about eating in class.

Hmm...I wonder what we're learning about today, he thought as he spread some jam on his scone.
And then here came a Gryffindor boy. "Hello, Mr. Jones." She gave him a smile when he mentioned the fortune cookie.

She smelt coffee, she would know the scent anywhere and instantly she began to move that way before remembering her training. Backing away from the coffee she went for a glass of orange juice. It would have to do.

With the glass in one hand she take a plate and set just a single crumpet on it along with a little jam. That was all she needed. Just a small jolt of flavors to wake her up a little...those sleeping potions had done their job but let her feeling groggy most of the time.

"Hello Professor," she greeted softly with a very small smile, "Thank you for the food." Mhmm. Food always helped. Before continuing towards a set off in a corner she remembered to grab herself a fortune cookie which was also put onto her plate. Now with her food and drink in hand she sat herself down allowing her bag to drop onto the floor at her feet while she got comfortable. Nibbling at her crumpet she dipped the end in the jam her eyes straying around the room.

At least this lesson would be free of blondes whom she was trying hard to avoid. Today might be a decent day after all.
Sora could see that there's something wrong with this Slytherin girl. Bet that she had a boyfriend problem, typical teenagers stuffs. "Miss Lynch, I hope you enjoy the food and the class." She replied to her.

"Hello Professor", Janelle said as she made her way to an empty seat. She picked up a fortune cookie on the way and then sat down. Dropping her book bag on the floor, she decided to throw caution to the wind. Janelle went to get a glass of orange juice and returned to her table. Then she grabbed a crumpet, buttered it and proceeded to nibble on the buttery goodness. Now this was definitely the way to pass the time, while you waited for class to start.
"Miss Guidry." She saw a Ravenclaw girl came to her class and greeted her back. It seemed like Janelle didn't feel suspicious about the food, and it was good because for the love of Cassandra, the food and the drink wouldn't harm the students.

Last thing she wanted was a repeat of Muggle studies!

Though her face fell ever so slightly as she saw all the food and her stomach turned. Her and food didn't get along lately! However she put a smile on her face and looked at the Professor. "Good Afternoon Professor Yoon. " She said as she took a fortune cookie. And then looked around the room.

She said Haddie and made her way over to her dorm mate. "Hello." She said with her fake smile as she sat down and looked at the food.
"Miss Kennedy." She nodded to the little Ravenclaw girl.

Blaise entered the room, his hesitance as clear as day. He...wasn't so sure he liked where this was going at all.

The boy took a seat at one of the tables, his quill floating along just over his shoulder with his notepad. "Is there anything we should know about the food, Professor?" Because he wasn't NOT gonna ask. Never again would he blindly put his faith in those set above him. That kind of trust was hard to regain when you realized what they were all capable of.

"Also, good day." Never let it be said he was rude.
Another traumatized student. She did hear about Professor Myers spiking their tea with shrinking solution and made the student shrunk. "You don't have to worry about the food and the drink here, Mr. Bellaire." She spoke to the Gryffindor boy. "I didn't poison them with anything. In fact, I'm currently drinking the tea that I served here." Did something wrong happen to her? No. "And good day to you too."

She was trying to perfect her beats, which obviously required a ton of upper-arm strength and those exercises were starting to take a toll on her body, especially in the arm division.

She scrambled into the tower-room, book-bag slung lazily over her sore shoulder. Mason was a bit excited for this class, since last year's had been such a fiasco or so she heard. . . she hadn't attended that class, since sleep was way more important, duh.

She gave the professor a little wave, "Good morning, Professor." Well, she hoped that it would be a good one, the professor probably knew. . . since she knew everything. . .

Oh! Pleasant snack-y surprise. Mason glanced warily at the tea though, since last time a professor gave them that, they turned into smol-Hobbits and had to go on plant-adventures. So she was going to steer clear of that. Mason grabbed one of the little cookie-thingys and went to take a seat, already rummaging around in her bag to make sure that she hadn't forgotten anything, something that she was wont to do. . . a lot.

Let ze class begin.
"Miss Stevens." She greeted the Slytherin girl back.

But seeing the other students present made the Gryffindor realise the was in the right place and walked inside.

She first greeted the Professor with a simple “Hello, Professor” and a smile before she grabbed a fortune cookie. Were they supposed to open it now or did they have to wait? Holding it in her hand just in case, the first year spotted Fiyero in the room as well and she rushed over to him.

Poking his shoulder , she gave a quick hello to the girls he was sitting with (Hadley and Azura) before turning her attention to Fiy. “How long till that photograph is ready?” she asked, obviously talking about the picture he had taken during Herbology. Then, just because she was already standing here she pulled out a chair and sat at the same table Can we open our cookies?" she asked, holding up her own.
"Hello, Miss Meadows." She said hello to the Gryffindor gummy worm girl. "Yes, you can open the cookie now."

It seemed like a logical guess. Once she had settled down, she went up to the front and grabbed a cookie. Once she got her seat, she cracked it open, not even waiting to see if they were supposed to wait or not.

"The time is right to make new friends," she read aloud. Huh. That was a pretty straight forward fortune - and she could use more friends! She could ALWAYS use more friends.

Except...she was still seated at the table by herself. Meh. Hopefully someone would join her soon and she could fulfill her fortune!
"Miss Reynolds, good to see you here." She said to the Hufflepuff girl. Did she forget to greet the professor because she was too enthusiast with the class or something?

Sure, she hadn't done anything yet, but that didn't mean that she wouldn't try soon. Wasn't that how things worked? Lull them into a false sense of security, and then BAM. You were suddenly Student Stew with a side of crackers and cheese.

Not happening. Not to him, nope. Not this term, nor any. The small boy slinked into the room quietly, eyes immediately landing on the professor; he watched her for a good long minute before giving her a little wave in greeting and taking a seat at a table that was safely between her desk and the door. Far enough away from the desk that he could run if anything went sideways, far enough from the door that he could still see what was happening at the front of the room. The fortune cookies were bypassed, because they could not be trusted.

The chair was squishy. He bounced a little in it before giving the food and tea on the table a rather dubious look. Was it safe? Or was it laced with "fall asleep and wake up in a pie" stuff? He picked up a crumpet and sniffed at it questioningly before setting it down. He would... wait. He'd wait. And see if anyone else ate stuff and had a reaction.
Another suspicious student. It's okay, it took a long time to gain a trust with all these students since the hag and spiking tea problems. Sora just nodded slightly when Jaemin entered the class.

So was it Chinese in origin?

Finding an open seat next to a Hufflepuff girl who looked way to excited to be here, but perhaps she could help her if she struggled?, Sky decided right then that she wasn't drinking the tea. Or the water or the juice. Last time she drank something offered at the start of the lesson, she shrank to the size of an insect. She would however open her fortune, but only because she happened to thoroughly enjoy the sayings.

Be definite now, worry about precision later. Skylar read quietly to herself, before looking up to take in more about the girl at her table. What did that even mean? She didn't need to be accurate? She was already perplexed and the lesson hadn't even started!
"Miss Digory." She nodded to the Slytherin firstie when she entered the classroom and joined Miss Reynolds.

"Greetings Professor Yoon." She gave her a customary bow that she did to all professors and collected a fortune cookie like she was supposed to. "Thank you."

She saw all of the food yes, but she wouldn't be having any of it. No, none at all. She didn't trust any of the professors, especially ones she was not extremely familiar with. No Hogwarts professor could be trusted on anything consumable. None of them. Not a one. Food in class was always a bad sign. The last time there was food in divination class, there were egregious butt trumpeters, belligerent belchers, the unbearable fart wars....no eating of the food. If this turned into gastromancy again she was leaving mkay? Let her fail it on the newts, but she was not getting gassed by her peers ever again.

Hogwarts professors and their 'food peace offering' to tame and appease their students were always laced with tricks. Cookies had caused her boyfriend being a temporary Demi mutt....now don't get her wrong she liked a bit of hair and for him to be manly...but were hair was a no go. And not to mention the professor she thought that she could trust SPIKING HER TEA AND SHRINKING HER! Without her permission. So no, just no food in class, at all, ever. They had probably ruined her for life on this.

Still, she did crack her cookie open. Be unordinary, visionary even. Ilia's eye brow raised at it and she sighed. So much for a fortune? She already was a visionary and so not ordinary, thank you very much.
"Miss Valke." She returned the greetings.

So far Professor Yoon hadn't tried to eat them, and she seemed like she could be likeable and maybe even a good teacher. But she was also the only teacher who outlawed the wearing of excessive makeup in class. Kitty ALWAYS wore Gothic makeup to every class she attended. Without it she felt vulnerable. And now she was forbidden to wear it.

Before Professor Yoon, the only people at Hogwarts who knew what Kitty looked like underneath all her Gothic makeup were the girls who slept in her dorm, and anyone who noticed when Miffy and Peeves through glue at them. But now everyone knew. And that made Kitty nervous...and angry.

Kitty walked right up to Professor Yoon with her head held high. "Good afternoon Professor," the Gothic girl greeted her curtly with her hands crossed in front of her. Then she read her cookie's message aloud for no particular reason. "Disease can be cured; fate is incurable. -- Chinese proverb." She paused. "Is my makeup okay? I'm sorry if I don't know what 'too much' makeup means. I am just being myself." The only makeup she was wearing today was black eyeliner, lipstick, and nails. She felt tempted to say that it was her fate that she wear lots of makeup and that there was nothing that Professor Yoon could do to change that, but she didn't want to get in trouble.
"Miss Valentine." She greeted and looked at the student's face. "I don't think your make up looks excessive for now. Just keep it minimum." Since this student seemed like a student who always applied make up everyday, she knew the differences between everyday natural make up and a party one, right?

It wasn't her favourite drink by any means, but she had developed a liking for it after practicing tea cup readings a couple summers ago. Waving to her friends, she joined Mason. "Hey," she said to her friend before taking a sip of her tea.
"Hello, Miss Darcy." She smiled to Hufflepuff girl.

Looking at her wristwatch, Sora then closed the door and started the lesson. "Hello, class. Welcome to another Divination lesson this term. I know that some of you develop an issue about the food and the drink that I served here, but you have nothing to worry about. I didn't put anything that can shrink you or something like that." It's not like she served them here without any particular reason. It's related to the lesson that she's going to teach today.

She waved her wand to the blackboard.
