Because the castle only had seven floors. They couldn't really climb out on the roof or anything, right? Maybe the grounds were meant to be eighth?

So her partner was another fan of the Herbology professor. Very cool. "One of mine too," Olivia admitted as she watched Jaemin first copy down the name and then go to work on the numbers and the math. It was short and sweet at least but ended in a number that confused her. And apparently her partner too. The Ravenclaw shrugged at first in answer. "I don't know." There was no eighth floor, at least in the main part of the castle before the towers.

Though Jay's idea could be true too. An 'eighth' part of the castle.

"Could it mean some place HIGHER than the seventh floor, like the Owlry...or one of the towers?" she in turn questioned. "Maybe we should head up," Olivia suggested. At least that was a place to start and they could see if other teams had the same idea.
