"I first found out about that there was a mystery about the Tapestry when I was reading Hogwarts a History and three newspapers fell out of it. They were talking about a mysterious force behind the Tapestry that was injuring Professor's and students. But when I looked behind the Tapestry I couldn't see anything. They blocked it off, which led me to wonder if there is still some danger there."

She stopped talking when they emerged in the garden. "Let's look for a paper. If we don't see anything we can turn around and head back. You can guess where our next place should be." she told Esme and she began looking.
The tower patch had been a great idea, Esme just wasn't crazy about how cold it was up here. At least she had Kitty to keep her company and distract her from freezing as she looked for the next clue.

Huh. So apparently the Tapestry was bad? At first she figured she had missed out on the story because it was in Hogwarts, a History - a book that she hadn't opened once in her time at the school - but apparently it actually lay in newspapers. "I wonder who put them in there," she mused as she looked among some benches and didn't see anything that looked like a clue.

"Maybe there is a way to get past the barrier..." What it could be besides a nice explosion was lost on Esme. The thought of damaging a part of Hogwarts wasn't one that she wanted to dwell on; detention was bad enough but this would also earn her a Howler from home. She frowned at the thought before glancing at Kitty. "This is a great guess but I don't see anything. Maybe we should try the seventh floor."

It was only down from here after all.
