60. Joke

Ellery whizzed down the banister of her staircase, making her way rapidly to the living room, where she knew Olly and Colin were sitting playing cards. Once the banister had deposited her soundly, she slid a meter or two because of her fuzzy socks. Then she resumed her chase, sprinting through hallways and turning corners and bumping into a few things (but it was all okay, she survived) until she finally leapt into the room, gasping for breath.

"Want to hear a joke?"

"What?"

"I'd tell you a chemistry joke but I know I wouldn't get a reaction." Finger guns.
