Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand they were off!

The astronomer longed to participate as well, for entirely selfish reasons that had nothing to do with assisting his own house towards victory - though they seemed to be doing a fine job of that themselves judging on the piles on each house's platform at the moment. No, the space oddity simply longed to live out a bit of fantasy.

Perhaps...he would...just to throw a bit of a wrench into each house's plans. But not yet. he would wait just a little more before adding to the chaos.

Amusing to observe, to be sure, but hopefully the two of them would not let their little rivalry get too out of hand. No bloody noses or anything, please. Cecelia would have the astronomer's head on a platter if he sent too many more students to the hospital wing with more Astronomy lesson induced injuries!

And that neutral pile of balls on the middle platform was looking pretty sparse now...soon the game would REALLY be on!

A character cannot handle any more then ONE ball at a time. All offenses will be handled IC, so act at your own risk

One "big" RP action per post. This means taking a ball from a platform, throwing, catching or intercepting (and placing the caught ball on your platform because that is a package deal), and blocking should not be combined in one post. The exception being taking from the middle platform where you CAN take and place in the same post (as stated in the original rules).

Please be midful of godmoding and do not play out the reactions/results of blocking steals. The RPer in possession of the ball (ie the RPer who took the ball off the platform) is the one who gets to decide whether or not a block was successful. You may RP grabbing at the ball and trying to tug it away, but not taking the ball entirely out of someone's hands without the other RPer's consent <3
