H i s t o r y
Joyce Lin, an astrobiologist, and David Woolf, an astrophysicist in University of Wittenberg, met in a conference in Munich, Germany. The two married three years after they met and had their first child, Natalia, a year after in London, England, where the family resided for the majority of their time. Natalia often traveled with her parents to different places, such as Germany, Switzerland, China, Russia, Australia, and the United States, for scientific purposes. Natalia became interested in her parents' profession and decided to pursue a career in astrophysics, like her dad.

Natalia excelled in muggle primary school, where she especially enjoyed science and history. She attended international schools from England to Germany to the U.S. and to China. Before attending middle school, Natalia discovered her true identity as a witch. When Natalia was eleven, she began attending Shanghai Pudong Wizarding Academy, a wizarding school based on the coast of Shanghai, China.

After enrolling in the school for three years, Joyce’s career made a permanent transfer to England to reconcile with her husband. Natalia returned to her birthplace permanently, where she currently attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
