Personality: Hates surprises. Hates small talk. Generally not a ‘people person.’ Is a quiet person. Has the patience of a saint for the goals of a sinner. Is clever, well-spoken, and well-thought, when he decides to speak. Speaks with just the faintest trace of a Scandinavian accent. Tends towards sarcastic responses when forced to speak with idiots.


History: Erik hasn’t celebrated his birthday since 2050, when he was about to turn 10 and instead of ending up at the zoo, ended up at an orphanage due to the car crash that killed his parents. Very pleasant memory, that one.

Nothing further is known of Erik until he began attending the Norse School of Wizardry. Although a Muggleborn orphan, the boy was somehow listed in the 2051 school roster and attended with decent grades, passing test scores, and a notable affinity for the duelling club. Upon graduation, Erik went straight into Wizarding university where he studied a variety of languages, as well as Norse history, runes, and the dark arts. Post university, he was quickly hired by the Norwegian Ministry of Magic (NMoM) for his work ethic and fluency in Mermish.

Erik has worked for the NMoM since in a variety of roles, most dealing with international diplomacy, trade, or secret service detail. He became close with only a few top-level NMoM employees, one of which was his old school and university friend, Tristan Christiansen. Erik’s most recent government post was in Scotland, where he was SUPPOSED to be keeping a protective eye on the Senior Undersecretary to the Norwegian Ministry.

However, Erik failed in his duties, Tristan was eaten, and now he is on an unofficial (yet secretly official) government mission to investigate the former Runes professor’s cause of death. Applying for the Board of Governors is the perfect cover… and could just be the means of destruction for this revenge-driven man.
