Jasmine Nicole Guidry was born on April 22, 2067 in San Diego, California. She has always felt that her birthdate and place of birth had something to do with her love of spring and the ocean. She is the middle child of three and has always enjoyed a close relationship with her siblings.

Jasmine inherited her magical ability from her French mother. However, she spent most of her life in the muggle world. Her father is a muggle who is an officer in the U.S. Navy. Because of her father's Navy career, Jasmine's family has lived the typical military family life. After being lucky enough to reside in San Diego for the first ten years of her life, Jasmine moved around frequently. After living in California, Conneticut and Virginia, Jasmine's family ended up in her mother's native France.

Jasmine attended Beauxbatons for two years, but never felt that she fit in there. After much begging and pleading, she was allowed to transfer to Hogwarts and has not regretted it for a moment.

Jasmine is a friendly and generally outgoing girl. She has had to hone her friend-making skills given the fact that she has moved around frequently. Jasmine is somewhat of a bookworm and she loves to learn. She is a Ravenclaw through and through, but don't let the book in her hand fool you. She has many interests outside of the classroom.

Jasmine is fiercely loyal and once she is your friend, you have a friend for life. She loves children and has no problem hanging out with people of all ages. Even though she appears confident, Jasmine can be unsure of herself at times. However, she will never knowingly let others see that side of herself. Never one to back down from a challenge, Jasmine is a fighter......in a good way.
