Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger Thornton was taking very slow, very careful steps backward so as not to disturb the webs or the spiders and to get out of there as quickly as possible. But upon hearing his name, he stopped short and turned his head. "Dima... shhhh," he said, raising a finger to his lips, as if sound would call down a shower of spiders on them both. He was about to take another step backward - a careful proposition with the instrument on his back - when something fell loose from the ceiling and the boy froze, squeezing his eyes shut, as if being unable to see the creepy crawlies would mean that they weren't descending up on him.
But when he didn't feel anything on him, he opened an eye tentatively and peered at the swinging mass.
That. was. disgusting.
He swiveled his head, looking from Dima to the mangled pendulum and back to Dima. His stomach in knots, he had paled but had not moved.
