Magic Mike XXL is the story of Mike Lane (Channing Tatum), a legendary retired stripper (is there such a thing?) who meets up with his former stripper buddies on their way to a stripping convention in Myrtle Beach. Lots of stripping - in case you hadn’t noticed.

The film has some funny moments, but the storyline can be confusing to anyone who hasn’t seen the original Magic Mike. That probably doesn’t matter, though, as most audience members aren’t looking for a captivating plot here.

If you're into that sort of thing, or just want to see some of your favorite stars strip down, it's a good thing to hold you over during the long weekend.
