Default Activity: Part 2
Raspberry Jam | #ChocolateFrogFamous | Ultimate Fangirl

Archie watched over the activity closely, smiling at the fact that no one had been strangled by the vines yet. Also smiling wide at the students who had already finished. He clapped his hands together to get their attention as a class. "Well done, everyone. You're all doing a fantastic job!!" He was very enthusiastic about it. Very impressive. "Now, you all still have lots of time to keep going with the retrieval of your pods..." He paused. "Remember, you have to get TWO pods so that you'll have one each for the next part."

"Next, we need to burst the pods to get to the juices inside. Once burst, they will fill the bowl with slimy, worm-like tubers." Really, really gross stuff. Archie tapped his chin and pointed to a shelf at the back of the greenhouse. "I've provided you with a range of tools for this, but I'll leave it up to you to figure out which will prove most effective..." It would be probably helpful if they had brought their Herbology textbooks, mhm... "You'll find blunt, sharp objects... knives, mortars and pestles available on the shelf at the back. Please take care when using them, and always wear your gloves." Gloves should never be taken off when in the greenhouses, period.

"Remember to step AWAY from your Snargaluff after extracting the pods. I will move them from the area once I can see that you are on to the next activity. I would like this activity to be done separately, by the way." Had he covered everything? Archie nodded. Okay. GO.

OOC: This can be done in one post, (but is not limited to). The pods require a specific type of tool for it to be effective. I haven't given it away because it can be easily researched (and will also be in the students' textbooks), but I'd love to see characters experiment! I'll post the answer under a spoiler cut or something if anyone can't find it.

You have ages to finish this activity as a whole, that goes for the first activity, too... I have to go away for the rest of the weekend (boo) but I'll be back before the class ends and I'll still be checking in from my phone!

OH, and if you guys could label this part of the activity as 'part 2' or something. Thanks, guys. <3
