Default Review: Sideshow Collectibles' Ron Weasley Star Ace Harry Potter figure

The Ron Weasley figure, made from mold of his persona in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, is incredibly authentic to the way Rupert Grint looked in the first movie nearly 14 years ago.

As the image above shows, the figure comes with Ron in his Gryffindor gear (which can be altered, think like a Barbie doll but way cooler), an extra maroon Weasley jumper, the broomstick that whacks him in the face during flying lessons, his wand, Scabbbers, and possibly the coolest thing of all - a tiny intricate chess set that anyone can actually play if they wanted to.

The figure comes with a few 'extra' hands, which can be replaced with the hand attached to the Ron figure when you want him to hold something. There are hands with tightened grips for his wand, the broomstick, and even some chicken legs - like the ones he devoured in the feast during the first movie.

To be honest, it's really alarming how genuine it is to Ron in the movies - we've been told there are Harry, Hermione, and even Sirius Black figures, so rest assured that poor Ron won't be by himself while on those crazy adventures. Plus it'd be cool to have Ron thrash Harry and especially Hermione in a bit of wizarding chess (if only they moved by themselves - but this is still impressive enough, we think).

The Ron figure stands about a foot tall, and actually comes with a standing set, which will allow you to make him stand in position if you want to put him up on the mantle, or display anywhere. Or, if you want to play with him and reenact scenes from the first movie, we're definitely not ones to judge - and if anyone does give you a weird look, they're probably jealous they don't have a Ron figure of their own.

The Ron Weasley Star Ace Harry Potter figure is available now through Sideshow Collectibles, along with Harry and Voldemort.... http://bit.ly/getweasley

... and something extra special coming out this spring (you'll see).
